Yahoo on Yahoo!

Congratulations to our own Cyndi Friedel, who handles the agency’s search engine Pay-Per-Click programs, for recently earning her certification as a Yahoo! Search Ambassador. Cyndi had earned her certification from Google some time ago and recently added the Yahoo! credentials to her resume of skills.

Where are they coming from?

I had a client that is running a Pay-Per-Click campaign on Google and due to budget limits they were only staying up during normal business hours for Eastern Time.  We were a little concerned that we were missing potential customers on the West Coast since we were coming down around 2:00 pm Pacific Time.  We suggested that they increase the budget to stay up until at least 9:00 pm Eastern Time. We also added Google Analytics to the account to track if the budget increase was successful.  With Google Analytics we were able to tell that the state of California was the number one state where our traffic was coming from with Texas coming in second place.  We needed to keep the client’s campaign up throughout the business day, Pacific Time.  Google Analytics is great tool that provides a large amount of information to help you learn even more about where your visitors come from and how they interact with your site.
